Strengthens Research Management

Strengthening Research Management Capacity through Training and Mentorship

As part of the EUTOPIA_HEALTH project, a new edition of the Training Program for Research Managers was held in May 2026 at NOVA University Lisbon and BabeČ™-Bolyai University. The programme brought together participants involved in a wide range of research management activities, from project planning and coordination to administration, communication, and support for research teams.

Building on the experience of previous editions, the training aimed to further strengthen the professional skills needed to work in an increasingly international and collaborative research environment. It also contributed to closer cooperation within the EUTOPIA_HEALTH consortium and supported the project’s broader goal of fostering more balanced research ecosystems in Widening countries.

Following the training, the first 2026 call for the Mentorship Mobility Programme for Research Managers will open on 15 June 2026 at NOVA University Lisbon and BabeČ™-Bolyai University. The programme will offer one-month mobility opportunities for research managers from both institutions to spend time at other EUTOPIA_HEALTH partner universities.

During the mobility, selected participants will work alongside research support offices at host institutions, receive guidance from experienced mentors, and gain first-hand insight into research management practices across the alliance.
